Check 1: SIM and eSIM
The US version takes one physical nano-SIM plus eSIM. Many international versions take two physical SIM cards. If you run two lines on two plastic SIMs today, plan to move one to eSIM, and ask your carrier whether it activates eSIM on phones it didn't sell. Without eSIM, the phone still works as a single-SIM phone.

"Factory unlocked" means no carrier lock, so any carrier's SIM is accepted. It does not mean every network band in every country is supported. A phone built for US networks may get full speed on one local carrier and weaker 5G on another. Two ways to check:

Check 3: charging
The box contains the phone and a USB-C cable. It has no wall charger. That helps abroad: no plug adapter needed. Use a USB-C charger made for your country's sockets. A USB-C Power Delivery charger with PPS charges it fastest; a basic USB-C charger is just slower.
Check 4: software and warranty
Language, keyboard and region settings are all chosen during setup. You can pick Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi or any other supported language on the first screen. Our phones arrive signed out, with no Activation Lock or FRP lock, so you sign in with your own Samsung and Google accounts.
Warranty is the honest catch. A phone sold into the US market carries Samsung's US warranty terms.
