It means the box may be opened and the unit may have been powered on for inspection and testing, but the item is unused and fully functional. We never sell these as factory-sealed. If you're not happy with it — any reason at all, including simply changing your mind — email orders@shopvoltvault.com within 30 days of delivery, send the item back in the condition it shipped in, and we refund you in full in the crypto you paid with. If it arrived dead on arrival or not matching its listed condition, we cover the return shipping as well; if you just changed your mind, you cover the return postage and the refund itself is still full. And if we can't ship your order at all, we refund it — same coin, back to the wallet the payment came from, within 5 business days of the 3–5 business day dispatch window closing. Refunds go back to the sending wallet by default, and we won't act on a new address that arrives in a fresh email: if you paid from an exchange and need a different one, it has to come from the same email thread that placed the order. That rule is what stops anyone who learns your order reference from redirecting your money.

US shipping is free on every order, to any address in the United States — no minimum spend and no shipping fee added at checkout, so the order total you see is all you pay. Orders ship from Utah, USA within 3–5 business days of on-chain payment confirmation, via insured carrier with tracking. US delivery is typically 2-5 business days. We email your tracking number as soon as the label is created. We also ship to dozens of countries outside the US — pick yours at checkout and the exact carrier-rate shipping cost for your order appears in the total before you pay.

Most wrong-network mistakes can't happen here: our Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana addresses use three incompatible formats, so a wallet or exchange rejects the address before any money moves. The one thing to watch is our 0x address, which is valid on every EVM chain. We accept and confirm USDC on two of them — Ethereum mainnet and Base — and Base is the cheaper send, so it's worth picking by name rather than taking your wallet's default. Small differences are on us. We value your payment at the coin's dollar price at the moment you sent it — the timestamp on your own transaction — so the market moving while your transfer confirms can never leave you short. On top of that, anything within 1% of the total or within $5, whichever allowance is larger, is treated as paid in full and ships without an email (up to $7.99 on our most expensive item). If it is short by more than that we email you the exact figures and you choose: send the difference, switch to something we stock at the price you actually paid, or have it returned to an address you name minus the network fee.
