Your Nintendo Account decides your eShop
The eShop you see, its prices and currency, and Nintendo Switch Online all follow the country set on your Nintendo Account, not the place the console was sold. Sign in with your existing account and your digital library and subscriptions come with you. A new account should use your own country, so payment methods and online services match where you live.
Bringing your Switch games
Most Switch 2 buyers already own Switch 1 games. The Switch 2 plays compatible physical and digital Switch games, but some titles are unsupported or not fully compatible, and a few need original Joy-Con or other accessories that aren't in this listing. Sending it as a gift to another country
Enter the recipient's address at checkout and mark the order as a gift with a note. Gift orders are packed with a slip that shows no prices. For Christmas, our current guide says to order international gifts by Monday, December 7. That date comes from published send-by dates plus our 2-business-day dispatch, and it is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Delivery and duties
We dispatch within 2 business days after your payment confirms on-chain, and email the tracking number when the label is created. Can I plug it straight into the wall?
Only if the adapter's printed input rating covers your local supply. A plug adapter changes the plug shape, not the voltage. Ask us for a photo of the rating and to confirm the box contents before you buy.
How long does international delivery take?
It isn't guaranteed. For Christmas gifts abroad, aim to order by December 7.
