Galaxy S25 Ultra vs S24 Ultra: check the S Pen before you upgrade
If you use the S24 Ultra S Pen's Bluetooth remote features, pause before switching. Samsung says the S25 Ultra S Pen does not support Bluetooth Low Energy, so pairing, charging and remote features like Air actions are gone; pen input on the screen still works. The S25 Ultra's documented changes are the processor, a slightly larger display and a higher-resolution ultra-wide camera. Everything below is from Samsung's US pages, not our own camera, gaming or battery measurements.

Keep the S24, or choose the S25 for a specific reason
- You use S Pen remote controls or Air actions: the S24 Ultra keeps them; the S25 Ultra S Pen does not have them.
- You want a sharper ultra-wide camera spec: 50 MP versus 12 MP is a real change, though not a promise every photo looks better.
- You play or edit on the phone: the S25 Ultra has the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Check your app's own requirements.
- Battery: both list 5000mAh; Samsung's video playback figure is one hour higher on the S25 Ultra.
