Which PS5 Slim does this price buy?
“Slim” describes the smaller PS5 hardware, not a separate payment plan or a refurbished condition. Our PS5 Disc Edition product page calls this unit the PS5 Slim Disc Edition 1TB: open-box, never used, with the disc drive included. You can use discs or buy games digitally. We do not list a PS5 Slim Digital Edition here.
The listing includes a DualSense wireless controller, power cable, HDMI cable and horizontal feet. A vertical stand is sold separately. Read PS5 Digital vs Disc if you are deciding which version fits your game library.
What does Sony mean by Slim?
Sony’s PS5 console page says the smaller form factor includes a 1TB SSD and reduces volume by more than 30% compared with previous models. Its accessory notes use “CFI-2000 model group – slim”. That identifies the smaller hardware family; it is not a claim that Sony prints “Slim” in every product title or price announcement.
Where is Sony’s US price published?
Sony’s March 27, 2026 price notice lists the US recommended retail prices for “PS5” and “PS5 Digital Edition”, effective April 2, 2026. The post does not use the word Slim. Consult that dated maker notice for Sony’s pricing; our price above is for our open-box, never-used Disc Edition listing, not an offer for a new sealed console or for the Digital Edition.
