Does PS5 Pro come with a controller?
Yes. PlayStation Direct lists a DualSense wireless controller in the PS5 Pro box; VoltVault’s PS5 Pro 2TB ships with the console, a DualSense controller and cables, in stock at $579 USD, open-box, never used, with free tracked shipping from Utah and 30-day returns.
The included controller is the standard DualSense, not a DualSense Edge. The $579 USD item price is before applicable tax.
What PlayStation Direct actually lists
Read on October 28, 2026, PlayStation Direct’s PS5 Pro 2TB page names “DualSense® Wireless Controller” under “What’s in the Box”. Its list also names the console, 2TB SSD, two horizontal stand feet, HDMI cable, AC power cord, user manual and ASTRO’s PLAYROOM pre-installed.
That is Sony’s standard retail package, not an expanded packing list for our open-box unit. Sony also states: “Disc Drive and Vertical Stand sold separately.”
What comes with our PS5 Pro 2TB
Our PS5 Pro product page lists “Console, DualSense controller, cables.” The console has 2TB of storage and is open-box, never used. We do not add a second controller, a DualSense Edge or a disc drive to that list.
Can you use your existing PS5 controller?
Yes. The official PS5 Pro FAQ, read October 28, 2026, asks “Does PS5 Pro use the same controller as PS5?” and answers: “Yes, PS5 Pro uses the DualSense wireless controller and is compatible with other controllers such as the DualSense Edge wireless controller.” Compatibility with Edge does not mean Edge comes in the box.
VoltVault does not sell DualSense or DualSense Edge on their own. If you want an extra controller, buy it separately from a retailer that sells accessories.
Does the Pro include a disc drive?
