Sony's price, and why ours differs
$899 is the price Sony shows for a new PS5 Pro (2TB) on PlayStation Direct. Ours is an open-box unit: Open-box, never used means the retail box has been opened but the console inside has not been played on and nothing was repaired. We never sell it as factory-sealed or refurbished. Open-box vs refurbished vs new explains the difference.
Before you buy: discs and PS4 games
The PS5 Pro has no disc drive in the box, so it plays digital games out of the box. Does the PS5 Pro have a disc drive? covers Sony's add-on drive, and Does the PS5 Pro play PS4 games? covers your old library.
