Where each store stood when we looked
- PlayStation Direct (Sony), read October 28, 2026. $899 for the 2TB PS5 Pro, "Currently Unavailable", and "Not in stock? Please check back later." No restock date was given.
- Best Buy, read October 28, 2026. The PS5 Pro page showed $1,547.04, sold and shipped by a marketplace seller rather than by Best Buy, and said an account is required to buy it.
- Amazon, Walmart, Target and GameStop: we did not check these ourselves. Tom's Guide reported on October 9, 2026 that the PS5 Pro was out of stock at all of them and at PlayStation Direct. It also reported Amazon third-party listings typically over $1,000, Walmart open-box units at $1,399 and GameStop pre-owned consoles at $1,400.
- VoltVault. The 2TB PS5 Pro is listed in stock at $579 USD, open-box and never used (PS5 Pro in stock).
Which PS5 Pro you get from us
The same 2TB PS5 Pro that Sony sells: all-digital, with no disc drive in the box. Sony sells the disc drive separately, and we do not sell a disc-drive bundle, so if you play discs, plan for that add-on. In the box: the console, a DualSense controller and the cables. It is open-box, never used: the box has been opened, so we do not sell it as factory-sealed, but the console itself has not been used. Here is what open-box, never used means.

How buying from VoltVault works
- Order on the PlayStation 5 Pro page; the price there is the item price, $579 USD
- Ships from Utah, USA within 2 business days of confirmed payment; US transit is about 2–5 business days, and the tracking number is emailed when the label is made
- Return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price (returns policy)
- Ask a person before you pay: orders@shopvoltvault.com
What to check before you buy a PS5 Pro anywhere
- Who is selling it. On big retail sites, a listing can be sold by a marketplace seller rather than the store itself. Read the "sold by" line and that seller's return terms.
- Which console it is. Make sure the title says PS5 Pro with 2TB of storage, not the standard PS5 or the PS5 Digital Edition.
- Condition. Factory-sealed, open-box and pre-owned are different conditions. Ours is open-box, never used.
- The disc drive. No PS5 Pro has one built in. A bundle that includes it should say so.
